This images of Henry is pretty much right out of the camera from the new Voigtländer Ultron 1.8/21 that FedEx dropped off this afternoon.
I love it. It’s fast with a lovely IQ. It has pretty strong vignetting, but I like it in this photo. Henry was good enough come running in this underwear to pose for me. I’ll turn him into a model yet.
I also ordered a Helios 44m-4 2/58 and a Industar 66 2.8/55—two vintage Russian beauties. I received no shipment notifications, but it is the holidays. Hopefully, they won’t take too long. In the mean time, I have a new Ultron to get used to. I hope the crappy weather clears up. Wouldn’t it be great to put the new SL in the top case and take a motorcycle ride?
