Olympus Zuiko 24mm f/2.8 OM

Another fabulous Zuiko: brilliant color, close-focus, pin sharp, and excellent engineering. Someone on YouTube suggested that the engineering of these Zuiko lenses rival that of Leica. I’m not sure I’d go that far, but they are lovely lenses: compact, with a smooth focus throw and a clicky aperture ring. These lenses are a pleasure to use and give excellent results. They are not as vintage-looking as other vintage lenses; I would call their rendering fairly neutral and predictable—contemporary maybe. While I don’t always want these qualities, it’s nice to be able to pick up one of these gems and know exactly what I’m going to get. This version is near-mint, and it came with the original pouch and lens hood.
