On this Juneteenth, I exercised my privilege and took a motorcycle ride to see Autumn and Henry who were spending time at Gummy’s. I picked up some wings from Francar’s and some bourbon on my way home and had a lovely evening watching Ozark.
Meanwhile, 45 thinks that people are aware of Juneteenth because he is a racist:
Trump told The Wall Street Journal that “nobody had ever heard of” the holiday before he brought it up.
“I did something good: I made Juneteenth very famous,” Trump said in reference to the rally date in an interview published Thursday. “It’s actually an important event, an important time. But nobody had ever heard of it.”
When he says “nobody,” as is always the case, he means he never heard of it. The man is seriously touched.
