Up for sale is my beloved Leica M. Purchased in January 2017, this has, by far, been the best camera I have ever owned. The colors are amazing; the body is well built; it performs like a German sports car. It has never let me down.

The sale includes:

  • Leica M (Type 262) body: it’s in perfect working order with minor signs of wear. The bottom battery door has some brassing, but I never removed the protective sticker that came on it. The body itself has a screen protector and maybe a minor scrape or two. Please see photos. I’m not sure what the shutter activation count is, but it’s likely around 10K.
  • Battery charger and cables.
  • Neck strap (never used).
  • Original box and manuals.
  • Thumbs-up. Very brassed, but in fine shape.

I’m selling it because it’s time to try something else. Really, this is just a test to see how much I could get, and I’m still reluctant to even try.

If you need a lens, I have a Voigtländer Nokton Classic 40mm f/1.4 (with original box and 3rd-party lens hood, ND filter, and Hoya UV filter) that I would include for $375.

I would consider a trade for a Leica SL (Typ 601) or a Fujifilm GFX50R.
