Wedding covid-19: day 197 | US: GA | info | act
Congratulations to Cason and Audrey who were married yesterday afternoon. Henry was the ring bearer, though I saw him bear no rings. He looked pretty good in his tux. Autumn was one of the bride’s maids. The specter of COVID-19 hung over the whole ceremony for me, since out of what appeared to be over-100 people, I only saw a couple of masks. They would not let Henry wear a mask for the ceremony which made me pretty livid. This is exactly the kind of irresponsible behavior that continues to spread this virus. We are in ’Rump country after all. What did I expect?
Henry was promised a donut, so he and I did that after the ceremony. We left soon after. I hope everything turns out OK; I’m holding back what I truly want to say. I feel like a shitty parent for letting myself be coerced.
