Beauty Day; Must Ride covid-19: day 54 | US: GA | info | act

Today’s weather was stunning: sunny and breezy and cool. I graded all morning, and as I sat on the couch on the porch, I decided I had to ride. The GS was calling for me: ride me. Hey, ride me.

I ended up at Dickey Farms. I thought about going to Thomaston, but since Autumn needed me back by a certain time, I stayed a bit closer. Musella seemed doable. Interestingly, it seemed that once I got on GA-42 south, the roads all of a sudden got hilly. The countryside seemed so green; even fields were carpeted with yellow flowers. It was windy, so the trees were waving as I passed. Gorgeous.

Here are some photos from Dickey Farms.

As you can see by the map of my ride, I made a coupe of other stops: one to get vodka and another for lemons. Bloody Mary ingredients.

Speaking of booze, I also go another bottled in bond bourbon: George Dickel. I remember not really liking the regular Dickel, but I thought I’d give this a try after reading some positive reviews. It’s good, but initially harsh, like a slap to the face. I know the proof is higher being a BIB, but the Evan Williams white doesn’t seem so aggressive. I’ll have to do a side-by-side.

And finally, Henry and I hung out on the porch while Autumn was having a late meeting. Here are a couple of shots of the berry eater.

Oh, and I submitted my final grades. Caio, to this weird semester.
