Despite what I wrote [[December 26, 2020|a couple of days ago]], I also have my eye on a couple of vintage lenses, specifically a Helios-44m 2/58 and/or a Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58. Also, [https://youtu.be/Lpq-qh6Oskc this video] has me thinking about one of these cheap vintage Russian lenses, like the Industar-66 2.8/50, the Industar-22 3.5/50 (based on the [[w:Tessar|Tessar]] design), or the Jupiter-8 2/50. Summicron 35 Play covid-19: day 280 | US: GA | info | act
Just messing around with the SL and the Summicron 2/35. Today I ordered the Voigtlander Ultron 1.8/21 with the credit I received from returning the Fujifilm X-T30. I should have it by the weekend.
Love the three-dimensionality of this lens—quite a feat for a 2/35. I focused as close as the lens would let me, about .7 of a meter. With the Ultron, I also ordered a close-focus adapter (I wish Voigtlander made one) to run all my M-mount lenses.[1]
Despite what I wrote a couple of days ago, I also have my eye on a couple of vintage lenses, specifically a Helios-44m 2/58 and/or a Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58. Also, this video has me thinking about one of these cheap vintage Russian lenses, like the Industar-66 2.8/50, the Industar-22 3.5/50 (based on the Tessar design), or the Jupiter-8 2/50. I found this seller in Augusta on eBay who seems to have a bunch of Russian lenses, so I might have a local connection.

note
- ↑ I figured I’d get an M39 to LM adapter for each LTM lens I purchase in the future, so I can use the close-focus adapter with all of my rangefinder glass.
