Considerations
Since my Discourse server experience worked out so well (so far),[1] I’m considering moving three Wordpress installs that I maintain to a single Google Cloud server instance. I want to try Caddy for the web server, since https is cooked in, and it looks pretty easy to use. I might just try it. The only sticking point I can see is uploading info to the server, as the ssh connection to the Google Cloud is tricky. Surely there must be a way. Yes, with my keys, I can access the server with simple ssh and sftp. Great.

- ↑ I’m still concerned about the actual cost. I currently have $300 to use as a trial, and when I logged in today, it says I have $297.82 left. Hm. It’ll be interesting to see what happens here when my students start using the server.
