Monday. Break. Motivation low. I have been struggling this last month to keep up the journal posts. I’ve almost made it, but since the semester has ended, my enthusiasm to spend more time on the computer has been low. That’s probably a good thing, since I’ll be on it for most of the spring, teaching three courses online—all of which are full. That’s a lot of students.

Yesterday, I ran almost six miles: the longest distance I’ve run in years. I think taking a bit of weight off has made it possible. That’s exciting.
