After School covid-19: day 733 | US: GA | info | act

Today, we had another brief photoshoot after school. Storms came through this morning and brought a lovely day. It was sunny, but mild. I put the neglected Takumar 1.8/55 on the Leica SL for a few shots. The one here is my favorite, and it’s at f/2. Henry felt a bit more brave today, so I was able to get several more shots than I did yesterday, though they were not all keepers. I really do like the way this lens renders—it might be my favorite Takumar, even beating the more famous 8-element 1.4/50.

Speaking of lenses, I really want a 28mm. This newer Voigtländer Ultron 2/28 might be the one. It has great reviews and a vintage rendering. Or, I could just sell everything for a Leica Q2. Hmmm.

Check out the gallery.
