Ghosts!

On this beautiful afternoon, I decided to try out the Color-Skopar 3.5/21 on the Leica M8 and the Leica SL. The lens is super easy to use on the latter’s big and clear EVF and pretty challenging to use on the M8’s OVF without proper framelines and at the 1.33 crop, making this lens a 28mm equivalent. I also have a close-focus adapter on the SL which allows me to get just a bit closer to. my subject—another distinct advantage.

As golden hour approached, I moved the Skopar between cameras and shot the ghosts in the front yard. Here are examples from each:

Both images were processed in a similar fashion using Capture One Pro, and of course each has a different relation to the setting sun, but the M8’s is much nicer to my eye. I need to try this again in a more scientific fashion.
