Voigtländer Color-Skopar 21mm f/3.5 Vintage Aspherical VM Type II Black Paint
Purchased for the Leica M8, this lens, like the Ultron 2/28, is compact and sharp. On the M8, it’s a 28mm focal length, and while not as fast as the beautiful Ultron 1.8/21, it is certainly more comfortable on the rangefinder. Unfortunately, it does not bring up the appropriate rangefinder frame lines; this might be a limitation of the M8, as I cannot manually select a lens. It has a bit more contrast than the Ultron, the color rendering is excellent, and what bokeh I am able to achieve is also pleasant. Overall, this is another excellent lens from Voigtländer.
