I was using the {{Nokton 1.4/40}} on the {{M8}}, and I like the colors I got here, though they look more vibrant in the RAW file in Capture One Pro. This is a challenging lens wide-open on the rangefinder. I can normally get the focus, but if I move to then compose the shot, sometimes the focus can be messed up entirely.

This photo definitely has a vintage feel to it, so maybe I shouldn’t bee too hung up on nailing the focus every time.

Pre-Haircut

20221206-hsl.jpeg

Before his haircut, Henry decided to sit on the wet deck and play. I wanted to get before and after shots, but this before one was about the best I could do.

I was using the Nokton Classic 1.4/40 on the Leica M8, and I like the colors I got here, though they look more vibrant in the RAW file in Capture One Pro.

I added Henry’s after shot to the Nokton Samples gallery along with a couple of other random photos.
