Strawberries! covid-19: day 389 | US: GA | info | act

What better way to start a spring weekend than to go strawberry picking at Dickey Farms? I picked up Henry from school, grabbed the Pentax 67 📷, Leica SL, and the Holga, and loaded up the Audi for a quick drive to Musella, GA. Henry took a nap on the way out and was a bit groggy when we arrived, but he was soon revived and ready for the hunt.

The above shots are all taken with the Leica SL and the Summicron 2/35. This combo never disappoints. I also snapped some with the P67 and the Holga, but we’ll have to wait for those images. I tried to get a P67 shot of the picturesque gas station, but the 105mm lens is a bit long, so it may not be the best. Also, I didn’t put the shutter lock on after my photos in the strawberry field, so I accidentally snapped a shot while futzing around with the camera. Too bad, too, because this roll is the first to actually give me ten exposures. Figures.

Here are my two strawberry field portraits from the Pentax 67 on Kodak Portra 400 🎞 through the Takumar 2.4/105:

The place was not crowded, and Henry managed to get a pretty good haul before closing time. My foot was still bothering me, so I hovered in the background. What a great start to the weekend.
