Film Life covid-19: day 378 | US: GA | info | act

I ordered more Ilford HP5+ black and white film for the Holga today. It cost me nothing out-of-pocket, as I used credit card points. However, I paid for processing my first two rolls from the Pentax 67 📷, for a total of $41 before shipping. On the roll of Portra 400, I shot eight photos because of my loading error; on the Ektar 100, I managed nine. I’m not sure why I’m just getting nine photos. It seems like the 67 winds one too many when I load the film. Man, this is pricy. Lens money will now have to go to film. And I’m not even sure any of my exposures will come out. This will be an expensive experiment. At least I’m keeping good notes.

I should send the latest two rolls off tomorrow, so it’ll be a week to get to Indie Film Lab, if the roll I sent last Tuesday is any indication. That seems a bit slow, no? I could ride it to Montgomery in a couple of hours. Maybe I will at some point. It seems odd, too, that USPS could not deliver film on Saturday. Sheesh. All of this is old-school.
