What’s my deal? OK, I’m on the Orange Theory Transformation Challenge thorough mid-March — it’s essentially a weight-loss challenge — but I’m not taking it seriously at all. I’ve been drinking and eating, well, poorly. And when I say “drinking,” I mean daily alcohol. Since I’m turning 50 this year, maybe I just don’t care as much about my physical appearance as I used to? It’s not that I’m fat, but I definitely have an inner fat guy waiting to reappear. That coupled with consuming too much alcohol (if I drank as much as I wanted), is not good — especially when alcohol’s probably the chief contributor to my father’s current mental issues. Why’s it so hard to just not drink during the week?
Also, I’ve been pretty cranky lately.
I need to start meditating again. I really think that helped.
