From Gerald R. Lucas

Great cheat day: and I didn’t overdo it. Much.

The pizza was pretty amazing. I ate breakfast early — my usual Bean Box mug with sugar and a breakfast Hot Pocket — and we made pizza about four. Building up an appetite all day — instead of a lunch of Five Guys or a Publix sub — meant I could eat more pizza and have a beer. I did.

I worked on my grad class all morning (it’s pretty much ready to go), then played with the new scanner: the Fujitsu Scansnap iX500. It’s a beauty, and a nice upgrade to my old one. It was a bit of a chore to set up, but it now works nicely. I’ve already started tackling the box of documents Mike sent me.

I’ve been enjoying the second season of Star Trek: Discovery, and Henry likes to watch it and other science fiction with me. He likes Isaac on The Orville, and I’m thinking of showing him Star Wars. IS he too young to learn D&D?
