I finished the first season of Marcela last night. It was decent; good enough to watch the second season. Autumn and I started season two of Stranger Things, and I’d like to get back to that. My favorite image so far is of the ominous, Lovecraftian creature. We can only watch when Henry goes to bed early — which is never.

My workout this morning was brutal. I’m not a fan of strength days. I signed up for the “Transformation Challenge” starting later this month. It’s a month-long weight-loss contest to see who can drop the most percentage of weight. The first prize is $1250. Wish me luck.

It’s a beautiful, sunny 70° day. I should be out on the motorcycle. Autumn’s at yoga and Henry’s watching The Cat in the Hat, his current favorite. It’s very obnoxious, but I guess that’s what kids like?

I finished my syllabi for World Lit and New Media. Now, I have to work on my grad course. I’m advising tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully I’ll be able to ride the Scrambler to campus.
