Hampstead Heath Redux

Autumn and I decided to have a walk through Hampstead Heath today before joining Daimon (Todd’s friend who lives in Hampstead) and Todd for an Indian dinner. We had cocktails later in Camden—at a place called Gilgamesh. Like Regent’s Park, Hampstead Heath is a wonderful place to spend the day. It’s a little piece of the wilderness right in the middle of north London. It’s hilly and feels remote, though it’s right in the middle of the city. This was our farewell dinner with Todd, as he flies home and Autumn and I head north in a couple of days.
