Santorini

We had a couple of relaxing days on Santorini, evidenced by the dearth of photos. No matter. We had to to catch the boat early in Athens, but fortunately we booked a cabin, so we all slept for the entire trip. The approach to Santorini was pretty awesome.

Our accommodations were pretty good too, but about a mile from the beach on the east side of the island. The place was pretty nice, and it had a pool. Autumn and I found a great little hole-in-the-wall that served the best souvlaki we had in Greece. I’m upset I didn’t get a photo. I think we went back there a few times.

We tried to get to Oia one night for the sunset, but we weren’t even close. Damn crowded buses. I think everyone had the same idea. We were able to walk around the hilly, white town at night though, and have dinner and a drink or two. Todd even treated us to dinner one evening at this lovely restaurant on the hill.
