Listening Journal: Day 12

15:45 – Started a bit earlier today since DS is coming by tonight so we can get the packets ready for … you know, it doesn’t matter what for. The bottom line is that I’m not going to be able to listen tonight.

I was thinking about this while driving into campus today: the older I get, the less I want to spend time doing things that I don’t want to do. My time on this earth is limited, and I’m getting less patient with folks that try to rob me of even one minute of it. I know that some wasted time is unavoidable, but I want to make it my mission to waste as little as possible.

Steely Dan’s The Royal Scam. Great disk that begins strongly with “Kid Charlemagne.” Ended @ 22:00.
