{{dc|M}}{{start|edium-format magic.}} This is a beast of a camera, but used right, it produces some wonderful images. This version is the second generation of the [[w:Pentax 6×7|Pentax 6×7]], produced between 1976 and 1990, with the mirror lock-up. I have the TTL viewfinder with its odd light meter. I added an eyecup and a crappy strap which I need to replace with a more comfortable one. I plan to add a right grip and maybe get the left handle if I can find one that’s reasonably priced. There are many [https://antiquecameras.net/pentax6x7lenses.html lenses] available, so I will likely add a 55mm (28mm equivalent) sometime in the future for non-portrait work.

Pentax 6x7 MLU

Medium-format magic. This is a beast of a camera, but used right, it produces some wonderful images. This version is the second generation of the Pentax 6×7, produced between 1976 and 1990, with the mirror lock-up. I have the TTL viewfinder with its odd light meter. I added an eyecup and a crappy strap which I need to replace with a more comfortable one. I plan to add a right grip and maybe get the left handle if I can find one that’s reasonably priced. There are many lenses available, so I will likely add a 55mm (28mm equivalent) sometime in the future for non-portrait work.
