Permit in Hand

We are ready to go! After getting the proper permit for planning and zoning, I was finally able to secure our building permit for the Sound Shed today. It took a little while, but I’m hoping that construction will begin in short order. As I already have my system assembled, all we need now is the room.

There are various government offices are in the old Macon Mall, including the offices I had business with, and that also happens to be the place for early voting. So while I was there, I cast my vote to end the insanity. I’m really confused as to why this election is so close. I do wonder why anyone on the right would have a problem with Harris: she seems to be pretty center-right to me—very far from the “radical Marxist” the orange Cheeto has called her. Still, trying to see reason from them is as futile as proving the existence of a deity. All I can do now is continue to live on the edge until it is over. Will we ever have a true progressive candidate? I guess not, as long as the oligarchs remain in control.
