Alps in 2025!
Ernest emailed me a couple of days ago with a brilliant suggestion: a motorcycle tour of the Alps in 2025. He found Edelweiss Bike Travel and suggested we start planing now. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a better idea!
One of the tours he suggested is the Alps Deluxe—travel mostly in northern Italy through the Alps and Dolomites. It has riding days and vacation days built-in. And they offer a choice of motorcycles—with the BMW R 1200 GS as one, of course. I’m in! They have tours around the world, including New Zealand, Iceland, Norway/Sweden/Finland, Spain/Portugal, Greece, and Africa. How cool would it be to do one each summer for the rest of my riding career?
OK, now I need to start saving my pennies.
