A Couple from Rose Hill

Testing lenses on a beautiful spring day. This first is taken with the lovely Canon 1.8/85 FD.

From the Trioplan 2.8/100. I’m not a huge fan of the “vintage rendering” (read: glow). The bokeh is also not all that pleasing. I think this lens really needs the lights in the back for its signature bokeh, or why bother.

This one’s a bit better.

Next, a bit wider with the Kiron 2/28. This is a sharp lens, but its bokeh is a tad harsh.

And another from the Kiron. It will focus closely.
