The Way You Want Them...
Kip arrived last night, and we got some pizza at Home Slice. We caught up over a sausage and pepperoni ’za, then called it a night. I stayed with him in the hotel last night, so I’m a bit late getting started this morning. I’m dragging a bit, too, even after a large coffee.
And right away, look at this brochure I found:

I went through all of Box 533 today and found little of interest—a couple of letters wherein Mailer writes about “The White Negro” and a few letters about that essay, but nothing directly relating to his short fiction.
Since Kip is here only for a couple of days, I’m going to call it early today. I have sold him on Jewboy Cantina, so he wants to do that for lunch. I also discovered a burger place called NADC Burger that I feel I have to try. Other than that, I’m not sure what this afternoon will bring.
