My First Car
A 1980 VW Scirocco, 5-speed manual. Man, I liked that car. Dad helped me buy it about ten years ago. I made a mistake and traded it for a car I actually had to make payments on. I painted all the gold details. I also added the Led Zeppelin and the 95ynf stickers, but the GB was there when I bought it. It had an Alpine tape deck (I wish I had a photo of that) and a custom-made shelf under the hatchback for the speakers—the huge antenna was so I could pick up local radio stations, I guess. I believe the shelf was lined with brown, shag carpet.
