Leica Summicron-M 2/35mm ASPH (Typ V)
Probably my favorite lens on the Leica M. Like its lengthier brother, this lens is an engineering marvel: compact and powerful, it delivers stellar results. I love the three-dimensionality it delivers; it’s sharp with excellent contrast and color. It was the lens my Leica M wore 90% of the time. I love the 35mm focal length: wide, but not too wide—perfect for capturing a growing boy, friends at a cook-out, or everyday life on the street. If you want at least one Leica Summicron, this is the one I recommend.
