Uneventful Beginning
Just how I like it. My ENGL 1102 course met for the first time today, and I only had one absence out of about 20 students. It seems like a big class, but there’s bound to be some attrition—there always is. That said, everything went smoothly and the class seemed at least somewhat receptive to what I had to say.
I have some more updates to do to my ENGL 2111 course, but I can take care of those tomorrow which will be my first work-at-home day. Yes! I have the World Lit course to make final touches on and a NMAC 5108 course to design. That will be the next priority, then I can get started on finishing the Mailer article I started in the fall. Then maybe to that book.
Happy 52nd birthday to my brother. And Elvis who would have been 90 today.
