Start with Glance
Spring Break hasn’t been too much of a break for me. However, I did manage to get caught up on a few professional obligations, though I have more to do. Always more to do. But, I need a bit of a break from work, so I did some maintenance on the homelab and installed a new start page: Glance.
I have been using Homepage which is pretty good, but more rudimentary. As my services grew and I incorporated more bookmarks, I needed something a bit more hefty. Glance seems to fit the bill. It was easy to get the Docker container running, but it was a bit time consuming to get all my info added. I managed to do that, now I just need to tweak it a bit with a better theme and widgets.
Today, we’re taking Henry and Max to Great Wolf Lodge in La Grange, GA. We usually go somewhere for Spring Break, but didn’t plan anything this year. We had talked about going to the Kennedy Space Center and the beach, but just didn’t arrange anything before the break snuck up on us. So, we’re going to this them-park hotel in the middle of nowhere. It should be fun. The boys will love it.
