The Beginning (Sort of)

I decided that since I am going to begin requiring web logs for some of my classes, I would begin one that centers around my teaching. This blog will further examine issues raised in my classes — things that I might think of after or before class. I hope that many of my students will find these musings useful, perhaps as a way to illustrate how useful blogs — any daily writing — can be for our thought processes. Writing as process, rather than product: something to get the critical and creative bits coursing. I will attempt to keep these entries amusing, productive, perhaps provocative, and always concise. Finally, I will try to post at least once a week — to keep up with the students.
