Remediating Education
A writing prompt for NMAC 4460, New Media

Watch Logan LaPlante’s “Hackschooling Makes Me Happy.” How does LaPlante challenge the medium of education? In what ways have the thinkers we’ve considered in class challenged and/or changed other media and to what effect?

In no more than 750 words, comment critically on the video using at least two of the texts we’ve considered so far this semester and one other you find online.

“Write your response” on Medium, or email it to me as an RTF or PDF attachment. Responses should be no more than 750 words. Essays sent as attachments should use correct MLA citation style and those posted online should use correct digital citation method. Be sure you’re using the correct conventions when writing, and carefully edit your work before submitting.
