Sick Day

Since Max started daycare last week, it makes sense that he has brought home some funk to share with me. It’s not major, but certainly an annoying cold. He has been snotty all weekend, and it slimed over to me just in time to start the week. Today’s weather reflects how I feel, kind of like a cold, wet, and dreary pathetic fallacy. Well, I’m sure my students will not be disappointed; they have a day off to match yesterday’s holiday, so at least we won’t be behind already.

I hope everyone else is doing well. Now, for a nap.
