A great little lens, this is a Leica M mount. Very compact, this lens has a classical rendering—a Leica-glow, if you will. This is not to everyone’s liking, but I produced some stunning images with this beauty. I grew to love the 40mm focal length, but might like 35mm better. The lens is sharp, and the bokeh was often pleasing, yet sometimes unruly and nervous. Voigtländer Nokton Classic 40mm f/1.4 MC
A great little lens, this is a Leica M mount. Very compact, this lens has a classical rendering—a Leica-glow, if you will. This is not to everyone’s liking, but I produced some stunning images with this beauty. I grew to love the 40mm focal length, but might like 35mm better. The lens is sharp, and the bokeh was often pleasing, yet sometimes unruly and nervous. This would be a beauty for a compact rangefinder kit.
