Updates. Still more to do.
Updates, though it's still old. I guess I could delete it.

Welcome to the new virtual classroom.

Begun during the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoom allowed us to continue face-to-face classes—just a bit removed. Today, I still offer office hour appointments via Zoom. Zoom is a simple video conferencing application that you can use on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. It works very similarly to FaceTime or Skype, except it’s made for group meetings.

When joining your class, try to connect a few minutes early. Check to see that you camera and microphone are working; turn on your camera and mute your microphone. It’s a good habit to keep your microphone muted until you need to say something. The best way to learn how to use the software is by joining a meeting. Consider these tips, especially using video, trying a good headset, and being in a well-lit area for meetings.

Create your account and download the client for meetings before the first scheduled class meeting.
