Sun Sparc 20 For Sale

Sun Sparc 20

This Sparc currently has no operating system installed, and no OS is included, though may Solaris 8 may be downloaded free from Sun. While the hard drives are empty, this machine ran Solaris 8 for over a year with no problems. Here’s what the winning bidder gets:

  • Two (2) Ross 100 Mhz Hyper Sparc Processors
  • TurboXGX Framebuffer (Video)
  • 128 MB RAM
  • Two (2) 1-gig Seagate 7200 rpm hard drives
  • Sun Type 5C keyboard
  • Sun 3-button optical mouse and optical mousepad
  • Floppy drive
  • CD-ROM drive
  • Power cable (not pictured)

All the standard Sun stuff: 10-base-T Ethernet, SCSI connectors, etc.

I do not have original packing materials, so buyer pays a shipping and handling (purchase of shipping materials) fee of $50. I accept cashier’s check, MO, PayPal (preferred), or personal check (I will wait until it clears before sending the computer). This is a great machine that will work well as a home or small office server. The reserve is set very low for this machine. Please email me with questions.

Also available to winning bidder: 2-gig Seagate 7200 rpm hard drive for $30, a 21" Sun Trinitron monitor for $100, and Sun 75 MHz Super Sparc Processor for $50. Happy bidding.
