Of course there is. They are pretty rabid about it too. You would be amazed at the number of times comments have been made to my wife that imply she is somehow flawed as a wife/mother/woman as she could be because she has a career. They further imply that I am somehow not as good of a husband/father/man because I "allow" her to work. The people of this ilk believe that being a housewife is a woman's highest and best use.
