Sorry to hear this news - all of it. I know it must have been a kick in the teeth to find out "you were not recommended". My only consolation to you is that in a couple of weeks we can drown some of your sorrows in a few pints in St. Louis! Chin up dude!

One other thing. I would really love to see a picture of fleas gang-banging on your leg. Can you post that?

I, too, am incredibly sorry to hear that "you were not recommended" -- not to mention disgusted and confused since you actually WERE recommended! Ugh -- those people should really get their act together...

Luckily, you rock hard, so we can force a smile and say it's their loss. :-)

Is this the university in South Florida that I think it is? I can help! You must remarket yourself as someone that can bring negative media attention to the university. The more bad publicity you promise to create the better your chances! Also, volunteer to call myself and other alumni members six times a day to ask for contributions to the uni.

Thanks for all the support. Let's just say that I guess I should be glad I won't have to teach technical writing for the rest of my life. Their loss for sure. Negative media? I think they have had all they can handle in the last year.

Don't buy the squeeze or spray on flea medications at the store. Both of my cats became very ill after I tried to save a few dollars. Get the flea medication from your vet (Advantage or Frontline). My yard and house have stayed free of fleas since I changed back to Advantage (they should send me endorsement money). I hope your Apollo kitty is doing better.
