Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 8-Element M42

The original Takumar made with eight elements in six groups, 1964–1966. Made to dethrone the then-reigning fast-fifty champ, the Zeiss Planar, these are a bit rarer and therefore a bit more pricy than the later 7-element versions, but most collectors agree this version is the more magical. My experience was mixed with this lens; I like the standard (and cheaper) Takumar 1.8/55 better.
