01/31: Midterm Grades

I submitted midterm grades today. Most of you are doing fine. keep up the good work.

For those of you who received a lower mark than you might have been expecting, here are the potential reasons:

  1. You have done little or no work on the FOG article and talk page.
  2. Your contributions have been sloppy and left for others to clean up. Or you messed up correct work and did not fix it. (Making mistakes is totally fine. I do it all the time. What is not fine is ignoring them, letting others fix them, and/or not learning from them.)
  3. You are missing assignments, or you did not complete them on-time. If you completed them after I evaluated them, I might not have seen them. If you are late with anything ever, please be sure that you let me know. (You can still do this, BTW.)
  4. Your participation is inconsistent, and/or there are large gaps (more than a couple of days) in your work on Wikipedia.

If you have questions about your work specifically that the above doesn’t explain, please email me ASAP.

Finally, even if your grade is lower than you expected, we still have ample time to get it to where you want. Thanks. —Grlucas (talk) 12:11, 31 January 2020 (EST)
