Welcome to the new virtual classroom.

As of mid-spring, Zoom will be used for all face-to-face meetings and office hours. Zoom is a simple video conferencing application that you can use on your computer, tablet, or smart phone. It works very similarly to FaceTime or Skype, except it’s made for group meetings.

When joining your class, try to connect a few minutes early. Check to see that you camera and microphone are working; turn on your camera and mute your microphone. It’s a good habit to keep your microphone muted until you need to say something. The best way to learn how to use the software is by joining a meeting.

Create your account and download the client for meetings before the first scheduled class meeting.
