Slacker? covid-19: day 597 | US: GA | info | act

Yeah, yeah. I know. I must seem like a slacker. Well, I have been working on my article for the The Mailer Review, and I finally sent it to Phil last night. What a relief. I know I could have edited for another month and made it a bit shorter, but there comes a time when you just have to let your baby out into the world. Yesterday was that time: all 12.5K words of it. I hope that’s OK.

I’m going to try to go back and add some entries for this month. I have a few in mind.

I taught my last classes of the semester on Wednesday, and I’m looking forward to a bit of a break this coming week. I still have much to do, but the end is nigh.

Henry and I started watching Star Trek: Prodigy, and it’s pretty enjoyable. I know Henry liked it because he just watched. We made it through the first three episodes before bed. Autumn was doing holiday stuff, so Henry and I were on our own, and I have to say: I really like father/son time. We ate Chinese food for dinner, which he really enjoyed, and he gave me time to finish editing and revising my article before we hung out. After TV, I read to him a bit, and he went right to bed. No muss. No fuss.

Hopefully, I’ll get back to my journal now, though I have to get to work on Lipton’s Journal.
