Zoom, Day 2 covid-19: day 19 | US: GA | info | act

Today was my busy day teaching: two more Zoom sessions. Again, both went surprisingly well. We even went longer in New Media, since Zoom granted us more time. How about that?

For New Media, I sat at the Power Mac which I think gives better light. I needed the extra screen to read my assigned PDFs. I sat at the dining room table for Modern Drama—more comfortable, but the light’s not as good. Maybe I can get my Rotolight out for next week. Also, you can tell who’s using a phone by the vertical video.

I wish I could say they’re using the forum already, but that will come along, I think. Discourse is really great software, so it might become a permanent fixture of my classes.
