When It Rains . . .

I woke up this morning with news from a certain university in South Florida that I applied to for a position, interviewed with twice, and waited much longer than I should have had for news of their decision, that said “you were not recommended.” Apollo has been lethargic the last couple of days, so I took him to the vet: he has a urinary tract infection that will require twice daily doses of antibiotics for the next two weeks. Got back home to a house that felt like a sauna: apparently the air conditioning has stopped working. And did I mention the fucking fleas that I paid a professional $150 last week to rid my house of are still gang-banging on my leg whenever I move to another room? F***! It is definitely pouring.
