Beach Day covid-19: day 119 | US: GA | info | act

Jerry, Kip, and Henry’s butt. Photo by Autumn.

After a pleasant walk this morning to Stump Pass Beach State Park, Henry and I went to the beach. I saw three large turtles on the trail munching their breakfasts. They are apparently Gopher tortoises, and I kicked myself for not bringing my phone. In fact, the whole park was beautiful, and I saw several worthy areas for photos. Maybe tomorrow.

Since Autumn had a meeting, Henry and I spent mid-day at the beach. He loves the waves and would probably spend all day getting knocked around by them. He got a mouth-full a couple of times, but stands right up and say“no big deal.” The kid loves the beach.

After some Taco Tuesday from the SandBar Tiki & Grille (take-out), we drove to the Boca Grande Club to meet Kip and Kathy for the sunset. The latter was unremarkable, but we had fun hanging for a bit. Everything was closed, but Henry went swimming with Kip.
