Messaround covid-19: day 115 | US: GA | info | act

Autumn and Henry stayed with Autumn’s parents last night and today. I got up and had coffee, worked a bit on the The Mailer Review, took a run, and spent a bit of time with Kip on Zoom. We mostly discussed music. After lunch, I took a ride to campus (the long way), and picked up a couple of things. It was pretty deserted, but that’s to be expected on a Friday afternoon.

Last night I watched The Invisible Man, and I enjoyed it. It brought the story into the twenty-first century, with all the misogyny, narcissism, psychosis, gaslighting, and high-tech you could want. Elizabeth Moss was excellent, and it had a pretty satisfactory ending.

Tomorrow is cheat day (yay!) and Independence Day (meh). I have to say: I’m not really feeling it for my country this year, but I’m happy to have what freedoms I do. Maybe I’ll write an essay about freedom.
