Lucy, Sam, and Me

Mom has 1981 written on the back. Tim wrote the caption. It turned out not to be accurate, as of today. I found this today looking through some old stuff in an old box.

I believe we were leaving our poodle Samantha with Lucy and her family to take care of over the Xmas holiday. We were going to Cincinnati, and we couldn’t take the dog. Apparently, Sam got out of the house and was hit by a car. Merry Christmas, indeed.

Lucy and I never really talked anyway. The extent of our relationship was passing notes in between classes. I was an awkward pre-teen, what can I say.
