I had one of my jerky moments in New Media this morning. It frustrates me when students show up late without their materials — missing the quiz. What does that say about you? How can I make them understand? I never handle it correctly — I just end up pissing them off and losing them for the whole class. Like I said: frustrating. That said, I think we actually ended up being productive. I don’t know: do small group discussions actually work? I’ve stopped doing it in World Lit. Maybe it’s time to just stop. All they seem to want is lecture, and goodness know I have a lot to say.

So, I’m one episode from finishing You, but for some reason I don’t want to. I think it’s all just too much. Maybe I’ll finish it tomorrow. I am enjoying season 3 of True Detective.
