We finished the second season of Stranger Things this evening. It was fun. It looks like we get a new shopping mall for season 3.

I also began watching You today while Henry and Autumn went to a birthday party. The protagonist is all about keeping things in cages: little delicate things that need protection. Yeah, he’s a psycho. It’s a bit predictable, but the characters are interesting.

It’s time to do my yearly evaluation again. I have to remember that I’m a reader for the in-house journal Culture in Focus. I’ve also joined a learning community — Chancellor’s Scholars’ Faculty Learning Community — concerned with promoting graduate education. It seemed appropriate for me, as I’m now part of the graduate faculty and a member of the Graduate Studies Council. Also having published Works and Days this year, I should have a pretty solid evaluation.
