Teaching day.

I also had my annual physical/check-up, and I appear to be healthy, though I can’t seem to ditch this extra weight I’ve been carrying around. Maybe an all-water diet?

OK, today I start a new feature: my baby albums! Here's page one from August 1969. Mom says, “I believe you were about three days old.” Dad says (in his usually snarky way), “You were a sweet-looking little thing, but taking care of your whiny little ass required about 28 hours a day for your Mom. For one so young and inexperienced, she did a wonderful job of responding to your constant demands ... until a few years later when you discovered beer and girls.”
